Welcome to Meg’s Miracles! My real name is Meghan, but everyone calls me Meg and to be completely honest, I prefer it over Meghan. Meghan is just so formal and I am so… laid back as you’ll soon find out. I blog about a number of things. most notably my numerous medical conditions, but you will also find posts about “normal” college student shenanigans and adventures. Oh, and let’s get this out of the way. “Normal” is completely overrated. There are crazy things that make the world think #OnlyMeghanBayer. It’s true. You can’t make this stuff up. I am currently working on switching my 210+ blog posts from thecrpsninjachronicles.com to this domain. It is a slow process, but they are slowly making their way over to this blog. I hope to have the transition done by mid-February 2018.

I’ll write more about this site later, but for now I am trying to figure out WordPress, so please bear with me.

~Meg

  1. Hi Megan, my name is Amanda and one of your friends (Amanda Schwarz) recommended me to you. She said you may have some information and helpful tips for what I’ve been dealing with.

Here’s a little info (okay maybe a lot) of what’s going on.

When I was around 9 years old I got my period and a short time after that I went to the doctors for an annual checkup where they recommended I get the HPV/Gardisil shot(3 series shot) I only got the first one as my mother was hesitant and a week later I was experiencing severe fatigue and lightheadedness, passing out and vomiting. My mom then brought me back to the doctor to demand more tests and tell them we wouldn’t be taking the last two shots. Fast forward to today, I am now 21 years old and STILL dealing with this pain.
Every month I am pretty much bed ridden. I can’t move my body an inch either way without excruciating pain. Not only does it put me out of work and a social life. It’s paired with heat flashes, migraines and dizziness, vomiting, fatigue, and a couple other symptoms that are just awful. I’ve been told that there’s nothing more that the doctors can do for me and it’s unfair.. it’s unfair that myself along with tons of other women and young girls are stuck in pain one could only compare to being crushed by an elephant….

I apologize for the long rant but any helpful information would be greatly appreciated as I can no longer deal with this.
